Kid’s happenings

Brittany auditioned for “Damn Yankees” at her high school and made it in as the character, Doris.  She’s going to be a middle-aged woman who has very adolescent type characteristics.  Should be fun!  Emily auditioned for “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at her school and she made it into the ensemble!  She’s going to have a ball dancing and singing around the stage just like her mom did this past summer when she did it at the Scera outdoor theater.  David is playing the violin in his orchestra at school and he’s joined the basketball team too.  He’s only home 1 out of 5 days after school, during the week and mom is the taxi service for all their activities.  Allison is becoming a regular little helper around the house, partly because no one else is around to help, but also because she’s growing-up and she’s wanting to help.  She’s still a shorty but we all love her anyway (smile).  Andrew is 8 years old now and in scouts.  He loves scouts but his favorite thing to do after school is play with friends.  They go sledding, bike riding, playing at the park and all sorts of things.  He’s a very active and fun boy to be around.  Gerald and I are working and exercising, and trying to stay sane!  If anyone sees any extra marbles laying around – they’re ours!
